Loved Marco. The book isn't long but within those pages the author is able to create a well thought out, complete story of friends to lovers. I loved how Alyssa stood by Marco and tried to help him heal. But her story was so sad. She was so alone, with her brother gone and an abusive father she couldn't go home too. She had no one, nothing, until she went to Whiskey's for the job. There she not only found work and friends, but she reconnected with Marco who she had loved since she was a girl.Oh, and the scene at the lake. All I can say is, have something to fan yourself with handy!
Can't wait to read book 2 and see what else this author has to offer!
