I balled my eyes out in this book. Is there anything else I really need to say other than that? These two characters were so broken and dear god it ripped my heart to pieces reading the journey they took. This really is a beautiful story and I loved both Colt and Chey. There were a few editing errors towards the end of the book but nothing that was so glaring or jarring that it took me out of the story. Besides, at that point I was crying so everything was pretty blurry. I don't read a lot of books like this and I'm always careful to pace myself and not mainline a whole bunch of NA or even just angsty books at once because honestly, if I did, I think the angst would kill me. Or at least leave me a puddle of tears on the floor. So I loved it and will be reading the second in the series but I will take a break and find something a bit non-angsty until I stop with the tears. *This book was a self-purchase and I was not in any way compensated for, or even asked, to review this book.
