The Demon's Desire - Kendra Leigh Castle This was a great follow up to the first book, Demon's Song, which I gave 3.5 stars. This one is a solid 4. I really liked it, and it packed way more of an emotional punch. Meresin's story was heartbreaking and this was just as much a journey of him finding himself as it was a romance between he and Dru. Dru was the catalyst, in a way, given what she did for him. And she also became his wing man, grounding him as they traveled through Purgatory to "fix" what was wrong with him. Their journey was sweet, tender, terrifying, and had them facing off against the devil himself, and I was happy to be along for the ride.
